Alcatraz

Alcatraz is a small island in the middle of San Francisco bay: until 1963 there was a prison which is now closed and transformed into a tourist attraction. Today it is possible to reach it by boat from fisherman Wharf. Among the many people that were detained here there was also the famous Al "Scarface" Capone.
