Apulia

Apulia is an Italian south-eastern region; the original name is Puglia. It is an area that saw many conquerors who have left their marks: Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Normans, Swabians, Aragonese. If you consider that the shape of the Italian peninsula resembles a boot, Apulia could be considered the heel! Being a flat land agricolture is very important, the main product are wine and olive oil. In the last years tourism is getting more and more relevant especiallly in Summer: its beautiful coats on the Adriatic ad the Ionian Sea offer heartbreaking natural landscapes and blue crystal waters.
