Chinese sign

Many pictures of Chinese signs related to information, direction, shop, food sign and more. The Chinese alphabet is based on Han characters or sinographs: in spite of their large number (more than 47000) many of them are rarely used and a simplified version of the alphabet has been adopted. These characters are also used by other languages like Japan, Korean and Vietnamese and by small ethnic groups such as the Miao and the Bai minorities. Many images are taken at night when the neon light make the signs shine.
