Coliseum Cepolina

The Colosseum or Coliseum, called also Flavian Amphitheatre was once used for gladiatorial combat. Emperor Vespasian started the construction which was ended by his sons, Titus and Domitian. The name comes from a colossal statue of Nero which once stood close to it. It was also used to perform boat army in fact it was possible to fill it with water.
