De Ferrari square

De Ferrari is a huge square, with a fountain in the middle, surrounded by neoclassic buildings like the Stock Exchange edifice. From here narrow streets lead to the historical centre Genoa, the heart of the city, the most lively and picturesque part. On the square there is also Carlo Felice lyric theatre which was bombed during the Second World War and then rebuilt.
