Ducal Palace

Ducal Palace was the seat of the Doge, the leader of the Republic of Genoa. This building has been enlarged and renewed during the centuries according to the artistic style of the time. Now it is a museum: the inner court is open and hosts a market of antique object each month. The tower was once a prison.
