Guilin

Guilin, situated in the northern part of Guangxi, is famous for its breathtaking landscape which have been immortalized for centuries by painters and poets. The centre has developed along Li river assuming the aspect of a modern and anonymous city, still the many tourist structures make it a good base to visit the surrounding area. A few famous hills, like Fubo Shan, or waves Subduing hill, and Xiangbi Shan, or elephant Trunk hill are located in downtown, but getting a little bit away the scenery is much more enchanting.
