Imperial Palace

The Imperial Palace is in the center of Tokyo, close to Marunouchi. It is the residence of the Emperor, called Mikado. It is possible to visit the garden where there are beautiful ginkgo biloba. The Palace is like a citadel protected by wall all around. The Emperor is symbol of the Japan and of the unity of its people.
