Kyoto

Kyoto was the ancient capital of Japan, seat of the Emperor called Mikado. It is a city where old and new are mixed together. Here there are images of the Imperial Palace, of the wonderful Nijo castle, of nice garden with colourful trees, of modern public places like a train station. Kyoto is located in Honshu, one of the four main islands composing the Japanese archipelago.
