Nikko

Nikko is a village quite close to Tokyo surrounded by mountains, forest, hot springs or onsen and waterfall. Here there are important Buddhist temples and the mausoleum of famed shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu. The temples are situated inside a wooded area. The atmosphere is mystic and relaxed in spite of the many visitors.
