Ostuni

While you are approaching you can see a luminescent spot at the top of a hill: it is Ostuni. In Apulia buildings are commonly coated with white paint because of the hot summer temperature but this village is a sort of symbol, in fact it is named the White City. The pictures are taken inside the historical center, a large walking area made of narrow alleys. On 25th August a three days festival is organized in honour of Saint_Oronzo, the city's patron. you can see his statue in the pictures.
