Piedmont

Piedmont is a region in northwestern Italy which is partly hilly and partly mountains. On the hills the vitis cultivation is an important economical activity in fact Piedmont wines are known and appreciated everywhere. The Alps cover a large part of the territory and give the chance to ski in winter: being close to the France Paris borders there are many foreigners ski.
