Prambanan

Prambanan is an archaeological site close to Yogyakarta with huge Hindu temples. It is the largest historical and religion area in the Java. The temples are built with stone and are finely carved with scenes of Hinduist religion. This is a world heritage site protected by Unesco: unluckily a recent earthquake has caused a few damages but the temples have being restored and the visit is not compromised.
