Saint Angel castle

castle Sant Angelo is a cylindrical building on the banks of Tiber river. It was a mausoleum wanted by Emperor Hadrian, then it became a castle and was connected by church Saint Peter by a covered corridor. In the images it is possible to see the castle, the merlons and the statue situated nearby the main gate.
