Skopje

Skopje is the capital of the Republic of Macedonia. The city was partly destroyed by an earthquake so that now there is a modern district and an old one which is the more interesting: here there is an ancient bazaar with narrow street road, shop and outdoor markets where people are selling food. The Turkish influence is felt in the Muslim religion, in fact there are many mosques, and in the architecture.
