Umbria

Umbria is a region in the center of Italy. It is famous for its natural beauties and its typical villages settled among the hills. The best time to visit it is spring and autumn. The main city is named Perugia: it hides many jewels of the Middle Ages period. Other interesting villages are Assisi, Terni, Spoleto. Assisi is famous for being the city of Saint Francis, the man who could speak with animals.
