Vernazza

Vernazza is a fishing boat village with a natural port overlapped by the old castle: the turret was a device to sight the Arabs during their cannon. On the hills above the village there is the ancient sanctuary of Reggio dedicated to the Virgin Mary. From Vernazza many truck start toward Monterosso, Corniglia or other places on the hills.
