Vesta temple

Vesta Temple is a small temple located along Via Sacra, close to the Rome Forum. It is one of the oldest monuments in the city. The Vestals were female religion of Vesta, the goddess of the Earth, who had the important role to maintain the sacred fire of Vesta which was a sort of protection for Rome.
