altocumulus ondulatus

Altocumulus ondulatus develop in medium atmosphere, till about 6000 m. They are darker than cirrocumulus and smaller than stratocumulus. Their characteristic is the undulated waves shape. They forecast drops in short time. The sky is very strange when covered by these clouds as if covered by a dense white or grey veil moving slightly.
