amaryllidaceae

Amaryllidaceae is a family containing more than 800 species of plants growing from a bulb. The bulb is put underground and let there till the flower grows and blooms. Into this family there are the amaryllis and the narcissus: the first one is a big flower with calyx shape that is often used to decorate garden, the latter is smaller and it grows sometimes in field in springtime.
