
The apricot tree, or Armenian plum in Latin, is in the family of rosaceae trees, sub-family Prunoideae; it is native to China and is diffused in warm climate countries. It has white or pinkish flowers and bear round, yellow-orange, soft drupe that contain a big seed that is called stone. The outer surface of the fruit is very smooth and resemble a peach tree.
