
The asparagus setaceous, named also asparagus fern or lace fern or climbing asparagus, is a vine plants in the family of Asparagaceae. It is native to South Africa but it has spread everywhere in the world because of its invasive peculiarity. Despite its aspect it is not a true fern. It has tough green stems with very thin foliage, white bell-shaped flowers and green berries that are toxic if eaten. It is an ornamental plants used both indoor and outdoor.
