Asphodelaceae is a family plants typical of the Africa and Mediterranean forest area; it includes the aloe and the asphodelus. The first one is a succulent plant with aculeus on its leaves: the species aloe vera contains a substance rich in vitamins and minerals which is used in cosmetics.
