Asteraceae is a huge family of flowers: arnica, daisy, gazania, sunflower, hawkweed taraxacum are just few species belonging to the group. These images are taken in different moments of the year and in various part of the world. Many plants are typical of the Mediterranean vegetation like the thistle and the hawkweed taraxacum, but others comes from faraway. The silversword is a tropical plant endemic to Hawaii, exactly Maui, growing on Haleakala volcano.
