The banana is a fruit that grows on a trees in the family of musaceae trees. It is found in pendent bunches and ripe in tropical forest climates. It has a long, curved and yellowish shape: the outer fleshy cover contains a white and sweet pulp. As you can see in these images, taken in India, there are many varieties of bananas: the green and the red ones are called platano and are cooked; the smallest are named bananito.
