banana tree

The banana trees is a plants in the family of musaceae trees native to tropical forest areas of southeastern Asia. It grows to 4-8 meters high, the large leaves are 2-3 meters long, the fruits are in hanging clusters called hand. These plants are mostly cultivated for their banana and rarely for their fibres or for decoration. Here there are photos of the flower and the large leaves.
