Baskets are large or small containers that are used to hold object or food. Sometimes they have handle and are made of trees, twisted hay or bamboo. They are homemade and are often typical products of local handcraft: the ones snapped in the photos were found in India, Tonga, China, Java. The simplest basket is made by intertwisted leaves and is used to hold temporary small things like fruit.
