bellis perennis

The bellis perennis is in the family of asteraceae. It is know with different names like true daisy, English daisy, lawn daisy, hen-and-chicken. It is the most common specie of daisy in Europe. This herb is characterized by a central yellow disc and pinkish-white ray flowers. Maybe the name "daisy" comes from day's eye", because the corolla closes at night and opens in the morning.
