The cabbage is a vegetables in the family of Brassicaceae; it is round-shaped and has white, green or purplish compact leaves. It can be eaten cooked or raw if cut very thinly. As you can see in the images there are also ornamental varieties that are planted in beds like plants: they have curly white, violet or pinkish leaves.
