Cactaceae is a huge family of succulent plants including cacti. They are native to desert areas of America but grow also in warm countries of Mediterranean forest basin. They need small quantity of water since have the capability to keep liquid inside their leaves. They have spines that can be very dangerous and make coloured flowers.
