The calla is in the family of araceae. It is also named arum lily or lilly. It is characterized by large green glossy leaves, a long stem with a white brat and a yellow spadix in the middle. It is sometimes used to make brides' bouquet since it means beauty. When fresh this plants is very poisonous.
