Campanula plants are in the family Campanulaceae. The common name is bellflower. It comes from the shape of the flowers, similar to a little bell (in Latin campanula). These plants are distributed in the temperate regions of the northern hemisphere. The corolla has five petals. They are used as food by many insects. These flowers have a large variety of colors.
