The carlina corymbosa is in the family of asteraceae. It is an Eurasian thistle growing in sandy and dry soils. It is diffused in the mountains. The leaves are long and spiny, the florets are white-brownish. In Italy it is diffused in the Piedmont where bloom from July to October.
