
The chamomile is in the family of asteraceae. It is an herbaceous plants with small white scented flowers and yellow central discs. If dried it can be used to prepare a sedative brew possessing medicine. The name chamomile comes from a Greek word meaning apple since it has an apple-like scent. It was used as a dye to make the yellow colour.
