The cherries are round berries that ripe on a cherry tree of the genus prunus: it is diffused in temperate regions and fruit mature in May. There are many varieties: the black cherry has dark-reddish, sweet fruits, the sour cherry is smaller, light-reddish and sour. A yummy way to taste cherries is to put them into a pot and cover them with alcohol: after a few months they are ready to be served as fruit sweet with ice cream.
