In Mexico there are very nice churches built after the 16th century: when the conquistadores arrived in Latin America the catholic religion spread all over the continent thanks to the missionaries. Among the famous Mexican churches there are the Cathedral of Chihuahua, the Basilica of Our Lady of Zapopan, the Guadalajara Cathedral and the Old Basilica of Guadalupe in Monterrey.
