Dragonfly is also known as devil's darning needle; it is an insects belonging to the order Odonata. It is characterized by large multifaceted eyes, two pairs of strong transparent wings, and an elongated body. According to the variety it has blue head, red or black-and-yellow striped body. It is a predator that helps control the number of insects such as mosquitoes. Since their larvae are aquatic they are commonly found close to puddle and lake. Many images are taken in China where these insects are very common.
