An emblem is a symbol representing an abstract idea, an origin or belonging group. It can be related to nobility, religion, politics. These figured emblems are made of stone like marble and are found in the forefront of mansion and churches: in the past each aristocratic family had its own emblem that was used to mark off all its properties.
