forts Genoa

The forts are army castle built on the hills surrounding Genoa in the north of Italy. Some of them can be visited or are used for shows like Sperone Fort, other are partly destroyed. The castle are joined by track from where it is possible to have nice views of the city. Diamante Fort is one of the best preserved: the name comes from its shape resembling a jewel.
