Rome's squares often have a fountain in the middle, realized by one of the greatest artists that lived in Rome in the past such as Bernini, Salvi and Valadier. Trevi fountain is for sure the most famous made in baroque and classic style in the XVIII century: people are used to throw a coin into the water and express a desire. In Navona square there is another notable fountain called Four river fountain realized by Bernini: the Nile, the Ganges, the Danube and the Rio de la Plata river are represented with sculpture. It is common to find a fountain in a mansion inner court: here you can see the one belonging to Taverna Palace.
