gray squirrel Cepolina

The grey squirrel is native to America and Canada but it has been introduced in England London and from there it spread all over Europe displacing the red squirrel. There are two species, the eastern and the western grey squirrel. The fur is grey, as the name suggests, but sometimes it turns to red-brown. Like the other species it is a scatter-hoarder, that is it hoards food in many small caches.
