hail

The hail is a strange atmospheric phenomenon that occurs when cold rising air currents make the water ice around small dust particles till their weight is so high that they fall down. Hailing can occur in winter or in summer and cause a quick lowering of temperature: it is very dangerous for agriculture since the ice pellets can destroy the cultivation field.
