Lijiang typical houses are built with stone and wood according to the rules of the Naxi women architecture: the external wall and the window are finely decorated with wood inlays. From the top of Shizi Shan you can have views of the roof covered with stone roof tiles. All the houses are characterized by an inner court with a garden surrounded by the private rooms; guest houses and restaurants have red lantern oriental hung outside to attract the tourists attention. As you can see the ground floor is occupied by shop selling souvenirs like scarf tie, green stone and silver jewels, tea, leather object and clothes.
