ice land

The North Pole, the South Pole and the lands close to them like Greenland and southern Patagonia are covered perpetually by frozen water: this is the so called polar ice pack. In these images you can see huge and high wall of ice that are slightly melting because in summer, when the photos were taken, the temperature rises.
