The laurel is an aromatic evergreen shrub in the family of Lauraceae. It is a tree diffused in southern Europe, typical of the Europe plants; it has oval leaves, yellow flowers and small blackish berries. The Greece used to make crowns with the foliage to celebrate the winners in the Pythian games.
