macaque rhesus

Macaque Rhesus is a short tailed monkey very common in India and other Asia countries. It is brownish to grey in colour with pinkish face, it uses to living in colonies. Here you can see also small specimens and their mother's attitude which make them resemble humans. Since this monkey is easily kept in captivity it is frequently used in biology and for medical experiments.
