This is a selection of masks coming from all over the world, both western and Eastern. There are paper-mache masks from Venice, typical disguising devices used during Carnival; there are lumber masks from Tonga, representing gods and idols. The Carnival in Venice has a very long and old tradition: still today a magical atmosphere is perspired in the city for a month a year.
