A moth is an insects of the order Lepidoptera closely related to the butterfly. It is a nocturnal or crepuscular insect with stout body and hairlike antenna. It is sometimes less coloured than a butterfly. Here there are images of a tiger moth, a lyssa, a maculated moth. Many species have hairy caterpillars, commonly named woolly bears, that are active during the day and when disturbed used to rolling into a spiral.
