oil palm

The oil palm or elaeis is a trees in the family of arecaceae trees that includes two species, the more popular Africa oil arecaceae trees and the America arecaceae trees. The oil is extracted from the fruit: Malaysia is today the largest producer in the world. In the photos there are palms with bunches of fruit before and after the harvest.
