
The oleander, or rosaceae-bay, is an evergreen trees or bush in the family of Apocynaceae. It is native to a wide area, from the Europe to China; the leaves are long, narrow and lanceolate; the crystal bottle flowers are white, pink or red and bloom in late spring and summer; the fruit is a capsule containing hairy seeds that splits open when ripe. It is one of the most poisonous plantss known.
